Our People
We take pride in putting people at the core of our business, offering every Workdry
employee the same opportunities to thrive, progress and succeed.
Equality and diversity
Training
We have a robust diversity and inclusion policy and
measures including a recruitment screening process
that is “blind” to protected characteristics.
We believe Selwood has the highest levels of
training across the industry with a comprehensive
programme for site installation teams, site
supervisors and site managers, up to NVQ Level 4.
Like many similar industries, we are aware that there
is work to do for our organisation to be as diverse
and inclusive as we want it to be.
Despite the challenges of attracting women into
our workforce, our mean gender pay gap is close to
parity, with male colleagues paid 4.7% more than
women on average. Our median pay gap shows
women being paid 14% more than men.

Wellbeing
During 2023, Selwood’s Safety, Health, Environment
and Quality (SHEQ) team delivered a major initiative
- Think Safe, Work Safe, Home Safe, which was based
on five themes:
We provide a comprehensive wellbeing programme
focused on five areas: physical, financial, career,
social, and emotional health.
Our electrical teams are trained up to City & Guilds
18th edition, with continuous refresher training and
first aid training throughout the year.
