Our ESG Pillars
At Workdry International and across our businesses, we are committed to aligning our Environmental,
Social, and Governance (ESG) objectives with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
A robust ESG strategy, closely tied to the SDGs, should be at the heart of our activities, driving meaningful
change and fostering a sustainable, responsible, and resilient business.
We are working to integrate ESG and the SDGs at all levels of our business, ensuring that our operations
contribute to global efforts to address issues such as clean water and sanitation (SDG 6), climate action
(SDG 13), and responsible consumption and production (SDG 12). As a company working with water,
being compliant and helping our suppliers and customers with their compliance against even more
stringent legislation is a given.
Our aim is to go further with a strategy underpinned by our three ESG pillars.
Environmental
Understand and improve
our impact on the natural
environment.
Social
Position ourselves at the heart of
the communities we serve.
It refers to actions we take to
mitigate against climate change by
measuring and reducing our energy
use and resource consumption.
It encompasses issues such as
labour practices, employee health,
safety and wellbeing, community
engagement, human rights, and
diversity and inclusion.
It also focuses on the work
we do to minimise pollution,
improve our waste management
processes, conserve water and limit
greenhouse gas emissions.
It also covers the work our people
do across our locations and
businesses to support communities
through philanthropy, fundraising,
and volunteering.
Governance
Adopt the correct systems,
processes and policies to support
transparency, ethical decisionmaking and adherence to legal
and regulatory frameworks.
It also includes the ways we
hold ourselves accountable, for
example through internal processes
and external accreditations and
assessments.
