ESG Strategy
ESG Maturity Progression
This progression is evidenced by:
• Strategic integration:
• People and capability development:
The development and implementation of a groupwide ESG Framework and Net Zero Routemap,
providing a clear structure for managing material
topics and aligning ESG priorities with long term
business strategy.
Enhanced employee value proposition through
improved benefits, expanded training and
development programmes, and more structured
approaches to career progression and workforce
capability.
• Global standards alignment:
• Social value delivery:
The Workdry Group’s commitment to the UN Global
Compact and alignment with its Ten Principles,
strengthening governance, transparency and
accountability across environmental, social and
ethical practices.
A more coordinated and strategic approach
to community investment and social impact,
including increased focus on generating
measurable social value through employment,
partnerships and community initiatives.
• Data, targets and performance tracking:
Continued improvement in ESG data collection,
base-lining and target setting, supporting more
consistent monitoring of performance across key
environmental and social metrics.
• External benchmarking:
Measurable progress in independent ESG
assessments, including EcoVadis and GRESB,
demonstrating improved performance relative to
industry peers and providing external validation
of The Group’s evolving Maturity.
• Purpose-led governance:
The formal articulation of The Workdry Group’s
purpose, mission and values, embedding
sustainability, responsibility and long-term value
creation into decision-making and organisational
culture.
Importantly, areas previously identified as “hotspots”
(where maturity was lower relative to materiality) have
been prioritised within our ESG strategy, enabling
targeted improvements in governance, data
coverage, and social impact delivery.
As a result, The Workdry Group’s ESG Maturity has
evolved from fragmented, initiative-led activity to
a coordinated, purpose-driven and performancemanaged framework, strengthening The Group’s
ability to meet stakeholder expectations, manage
risk and deliver sustainable long term value.
