Delivering On Our Plan
Throughout 2025, we focused on turning the routemap’s recommendations into action.
This included:
Exploring alternative fuels:
•
•
We continued to grow our range of electric
pumps, which now sits at over 50% of our
operational fleet. The remaining diesel
engines are already HVO compatible. We
now have one of the largest HVO ready
pumping fleets in our industry.
In 2025 we saw increased interest from
key customers in alternative lower carbon
fuels. In response we have scaled up HVO
usage across our operational fleet and
agreed plans to introduce more HVO into
our transport fleet.

Supporting Our Customers’ Journeys
•
As we decarbonise our own operations,
we recognise our critical role in helping
customers achieve their Net Zero ambitions.
Our investments in cleaner technologies,
alternative fuels, and more efficient equipment
are expanding the low-carbon solutions we can
offer, ensuring we remain a trusted partner in
supporting environmentally responsible water
management.

We created a new business case template
which helps embed emissions targets into
budgeting, capex, and operational planning.
In time we hope to expand the remit to
include broader ESG considerations such
as social value.
We updated our Task Force on Climaterelated Financial Disclosures (TCFD)
assessment to help identify gaps with our
transition planning, further details can be
found on page 114.
We began work on a value chain
engagement strategy to target Scope 3
emissions. This includes HVO readiness
discussions with key customers.
