The Workdry Group ESG Report 2025 - Report - Page 7
Introduction
At The Workdry Group, we continue to make
positive progress in strengthening how we manage
Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) matters
across the business. Over the past year, we have built
further momentum improving data quality, enhancing
governance and embedding ESG more consistently
into how we operate, invest and support our people.
This progress reflects our belief that responsible
business growth and strong performance go hand
in hand.
ESG at The Workdry Group is a practical framework
for long-term value creation. It helps guide decisionmaking, supports effective risk management and
underpins responsible growth across The Group.
Our ESG Framework ensures that sustainability
considerations are integrated into our Business
strategy and day‑to‑day operations, rather than
treated as a standalone activity.
We’re starting to see benefits realisation from
our Value Creation Programme (VCP) including
continued growth in our core markets and in
new territories internationally.
Looking ahead to 2026 and beyond, we enter an
exciting period for The Group. In 2026, one of our
UK businesses, Selwood, celebrates its 80th
anniversary. This is a milestone that reflects the
strength of its heritage, engineering expertise and
enduring contribution to The Workdry Group’s
success.
We have a great deal planned to recognise this
achievement and to build on it, with continued
emphasis on innovation, operational excellence
and responsible growth. As expectations around
ESG continue to rise, we remain committed to
a pragmatic, balanced and credible approach
that supports resilience, competitiveness and
sustainable value creation over the long term.
We have delivered this progress against a backdrop
of continued macro economic uncertainty, inflationary
pressures and evolving customer and regulatory
expectations. In response, our approach remains
disciplined and materiality-led focused on the
ESG issues that matter most to our business, our
stakeholders and our long‑term resilience.
During the year, we have strengthened oversight of
energy use and emissions, we’ve maintained a strong
focus on health, safety, and wellbeing and are seeing
tangible impacts from our Home Safe campaign in
terms of lost time injuries.
