Social
Listening To Our People
The findings highlighted several strengths
across The Group. Employees reported very
high personal commitment to safety and strong
confidence in reporting hazards and challenging
unsafe behaviour. Results also improved
between the March and December surveys, with
employees saying they feel more listened to and
more involved in safety conversations.
By listening to feedback and acting on what
we learn, The Workdry Group continues to
strengthen a culture where safety is openly
discussed and owned by everyone.
In response, The Workdry Group introduced
initiatives to reinforce safety culture. A key step
was the launch of the Home Safe programme,
supported by a company-wide communication
campaign and a leadership video from our CEO
emphasising that safety must remain our first
priority.
To support this message, we also introduced the
“5 Home Safe Rules”, a clear set of behaviours
guiding everyday safety decisions. These
encourage employees to start meetings with
a safety moment, follow safe site practices
including inductions and Personal Protective
Equipment (PPE), stop work if unsure, report
hazards and near misses, and drive safely on
and off site.
